Sebelum ni aku ada jenguk forum WebmasterMalaysia. Ada yg bertanyakan tentang daftar domain “.my”. Bukan “.com.my” atau “.net.my” tapi “.my” saje seperti contoh “UKM.my”. Okey, baru-baru ni MyNIC dah buat pengumuman untuk membuka pendaftaran domain “.my”.

MYNIC is pleased to announce that the Priority Entry period for MYNIC’s shorter addressing (shorter suffix) option via second level domain name (2LD), will start from 9am 1 November 2007 to 5pm 31 December 2007.

We would like to highlight that only active third level domain names registered up to 5pm 26 October 2007 are eligible to apply during this time, subject to terms and conditions.

In cases where there are multiple applications for the same second level domain name, priority will be given to the registrant with the earliest registered third level domain name.

All .gov.my equivalent second level domain names are reserved for government entities.

Priority Entry applications are made via our Resellers. Fees for 2LD will only be charged upon successful registration of the second level domain name and is set by Resellers subject to a maximum cap of RM120. Please look around for the best service and payment packages (such as registration, renewal and refund fees) for you.

Laman web video sharing yg semakin menambat hati pengguna internet hingga mendorong kewujudan ManggaTV. Mungkin ia sebuah website versi Malaysia tetapi ada juga kandungan (video) yg datang dari luar. Kalau dilihat dari iklan-iklan di dalam akhbar sebelum ni, ManggaTV mengajak orang ramai memuat-naik video ucapan sempena Hari Raya Aidilfitri baru-baru ini.

Harga domain naik jugak!
Selepas digembar-gemburkan sebelum ni di kalangan webmaster, akhirnya harga domain TLD naik jugak bagi beberapa pendaftar. Aku terima email dari Namecheap (dulu harga diorang 8.88 USD).

In April 2007, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) approved certain domain registries to increase their prices. Domain registries are the private companies which manage the registration, technical operations, and control the allocation policies of the TLD’s for which they are responsible.

Domain registries VeriSign (.com, .net tld’s), Afilias (.info tld), Neulevel (.biz tld) and Public Interest Registry (.org tld) applied for and received price increases and have announced they will be raising their wholesale prices to all registrars including us.

Pada yg ada banyak domain tu, mungkin sekarang masa yg sesuai untuk renew domain sebelum pendaftar lain pun ikut naikkan harga.

Lagu Negaraku Ning Baizura
Kalau baca surat khabar Harian Metro hari ni, ramai yg tak puas hati dengan nyanyian lagu Negaraku oleh Ning Baizura sebelum perlawanan myTeam 2 lawan Indonesia. Aku yg tengok kat TV pun tak puas hati jugak. Aku rasa Ning nyanyi ikut sedap dia aje. Kalau tak silap aku, tempo lagu Negaraku yg terbaru rancak sikit berbanding dulu. Ning nyanyi macam tempo perlahan dan mendayu je. Tak sesuai dia nyanyi camtu kalau nak orang lain ikut sama dia nyanyi. Pendapat aku la.
